Three Generations of Hand-Blowing
Vitra Decoration is a family-owned artisan glass manufacturer. Every piece in the catalog is hand-blown in our own workshop, on a furnace that runs around the clock.
The workshop began in 1987 serving laboratory glassware. That technical precision still defines the brand: controlled wall thickness, careful annealing, and material certification on every batch.
Six Steps from Sand to Shelf
- Raw material is mixed and loaded into a 1,650C furnace.
- Molten glass is gathered on a hollow steel pipe.
- The body is shaped by hand with wet wooden tools.
- Handles, double walls, and inlays are added by specialist artisans.
- The piece cools slowly in an annealing kiln for 8-12 hours.
- Every piece passes a 14-point QC checklist before packing.

- Master Wang: lead glassblower with 32 years on the kiln.
- Master Liu: colored-glass batch chemist for private-label colors.
- Yi-Ling: third-generation creative director since 2014.
